During the first hour that you spend with me I will take a full clinical history and carry out a general medical examination so that I can treat you as a whole person, not just ‘a back’ or ‘a knee.’

I will then specifically examine the part or parts of you that are causing a problem and arrange any Blood Tests, X-rays or Scans that are appropriate. I am in constant touch with Specialists in other disciplines so that I can refer you, if necessary, to colleagues in other specialities so that your treatment is comprehensive.

After explanation of the diagnosis and discussion about the treatment for your understanding and approval, I use alone or in combination: Power Assisted Micro-Manipulation (the “PAMM” Machine), dry-needling, aspiration of fluid from the joints, injection of local anaesthetic and Hydrocortisone, sclerosing injections to lumbar ligaments, epidural injections, spinal manipulation and nerve root stretching. Selected combinations of one, two or more of these techniques usually prove highly effective.

You may require only one or two consultations or a longer course of treatments. You may wish to consult with me regularly to maintain optimum comfort and mobility.
